Be inspired by our 4-day road trip in a van along the coast of Brittany!
Enjoy a unique experience in the heart of Brittany’s natural landscape
Set up your tent or campervan in the middle of the pastures, in a haven of tranquillity where goats and sheep graze peacefully around you. Here, every morning begins with birdsong, the rustling of the wind in the tall grass… and a breathtaking view of the Pink Granite Coast archipelago.
This iconic spot, nestled in the hills above Plouguiel, offers a striking panorama of the islands and the sparkling waters of the English Channel. At the end of the day, the sunset sets the sky ablaze, transforming the horizon into a living canvas.
Both wild and welcoming, this place is perfect for nature lovers, van lifers in search of authenticity, or campers looking for an extraordinary place to stay. An enchanted break, far from the crowds, close to the essentials.
Day 2
A moment suspended on the beach
After a gentle hike along Morlaix Bay, it’s time for a break on the wild beaches of Finistère. With your feet in the sand and your gaze turned towards the horizon, calm slowly descends… then comes the moment of adventure: with climbing shoes on your feet, climb the sculpted rocks of Menez Ham, facing the ocean.
Here, everyone lives at their own pace: improvised games on the beach, surfing sessions in search of the perfect wave, or simply lazing in the sun. Time seems to stretch out, inviting you to disconnect completely and rediscover the raw, soothing beauty of nature.
And as the day draws to a close, head to Eva Beach for a magical moment: a picnic with your feet in the sand, lulled by the lapping of the waves, as the sun slowly slips behind the horizon. The sky turns pink and gold, nature falls silent, and night descends peacefully.
Day 3
Experience wild Brittany in Camaret-sur-Mer
Start the day gently with breakfast with your feet in the sand on Eva Beach. Time for one last coffee facing the waves… then head for Camaret-sur-Mer along the coast.
On the way, a stop is a must: at Germaine’s, a crêperie with old-fashioned charm, where you can enjoy generous galettes with a view of the sea. A warm and delicious break before continuing your adventure.
Once you arrive in Camaret-sur-Mer, lose yourself in the mysterious ruins of Château de Dinan, a historic site suspended above the ocean. Then let yourself be carried away by the call of the surrounding beaches: wild, immense, unspoilt… the ideal place for a swim, a nap in the sun or a surfing session in a picture-postcard setting.
For the night, park your van in a spot perched between land and sea, overlooking the immensity of the ocean. Let yourself be enchanted by the raw beauty of La Palue beach, where the sunset transforms the sky into a flamboyant spectacle.
Day 4
In search of eyes, an unusual stopover near Plozévet
Keep your eyes peeled as you travel along the road… Around every bend, on walls and stones, mysterious colourful mosaics watch you. Have you noticed these little mosaic eyes dotted around the landscape? An artistic treasure hunt awaits you! Why not take up the challenge of finding the one hidden near Pors Poulhan?
But first, it’s time for a break. Don’t miss the crêpe cart, a charming little spot perfect for a sweet or savoury snack by the roadside. Then head to the legendary Pointe de la Torche for a paddleboarding session in breathtaking surroundings: waves, rocks and a horizon stretching as far as the eye can see.
At the end of the day, park your van at our spot nestled between the countryside and the ocean, close to Plozévet. Here, calm reigns, children run barefoot in the grass, and dinner is slowly prepared with the family, facing the last rays of the sun.
